Hi Everyone

“Deck The Halls” Card
I created the “swing card” base using this Cameo file from Lori Whitlock, but it is easy to cut by hand too. Take a look at this great online template from Beate Johns.
The green chevron print has a clean and modern style and the ultra simple decoration is all that is needed to make this card really striking. Hint - Don’t be afraid to trim your stickers to fit your projects. Sometimes it’s nerve-wracking to do that – but de-sticky the backs with talc first and you can play around with the placement before re-gluing into your chosen position.
Using foam dots to mount small elements helps add some extra dimension to your card.
“Merry Christmas” Card
This card has the same base created from the fabulous Ultra White Felt Carta Bella Cardstock. If you are creating card bases with your Cameo – I have to say that this cardstock cuts like a dream! It’s very thick and textured so I was skeptical as to how it would work – but it’s absolutely my number one choice for digital cutting.
This time I chose a red print as the base and then added some “busy print” papers for a richer look. Once again I have cut down some stickers to fit and added an inked wooden “25” for extra interest.
These cards are not only simple to make, they fold flat for mailing and are just different enough to stand out in a sea of festive goodness!
