Paper “Sour Cream” Containers – with Tutorial

Hi Everyone
In North America they have these wonderful stripy mints at Christmas time.

As soon as I saw this paper from the Kaisercraft Be Merry Collection I knew what I wanted to do with it!. I have made a bucket of mints using a really simple technique which you can see below!

I used 3×4 inch rectangles meaning you can get 12 of these out of a single sheet of 12×12 paper.

They would make great simple but elegant wrapping parcels for little presents. I have used another ruffle flower to decorate the front (you can see how these are made here)
I have made some chipboard buttons to decorate the “mints” and just tied them with organza ribbon.

I have filled these with mints and I think I will bring them down to Liz and the wonderful ladies in her shop over the weekend!

Tutorial

These are so simple – here’s how I did it!

Stay tuned for heaps more Christmas Ideas over the weekend!
