“Hello Summer” Favor Stand (Echo Park)

Please
note that the Blog Hop and competitions previously detailed on this
post have now closed. You can see who won the Echo Park giveaways on

Hello Summer Party Favor Stand
I have this project to share today. I know it might look complicated but I promise it is not!

To create this I took a cheap cupcake tree (this link will take you to the exact product I used available on amazon.com) and covered it in paper from the Hello Summer Collection. To make the borders I cut strips from the You’ve Been Flagged Paper and cut notches into the flags with a pair of sharp scissors. You don’t have to be too accurate as the overall effect is what is most important!

To create this birdhouse I used this file from the Silhouette store and then added some of the chipboard and sticker elements to create the clouds and bird details. They are all layered and mounted using dimensional foam.

Here is a list of blogs that were on the hop!

That would be cute as a cupcake stand – I wish I could find one of those at the dollar stores around here, but even if I have to get the more expensive one at M's, it would be worth it if I did something like that. But I'd have to win some Hello Summer of course.

“Hello Summer” Favor Stand (Echo Park)

    Please
note that the Blog Hop and competitions previously detailed on this
post have now closed. You can see who won the Echo Park giveaways on
their blog here. You can see who won my giveaway here. I encourage you to visit all the fabulous blogs that were on the hop – there is a list at the end of this post!
