“M” is for 52 Memories – Mother’s Day Gift

Hi Everyone
I have a last minute Mother’s Day idea to share and it is based on my “52 Reasons I Love You” project shown here
If it’s too late for this year – why not store the idea away for a  birthday gift when you have some more time!
I have used the Bicycle Pink Ribbon Cards as the base for this project, and 10% from the sale of each pack goes to www.bcrfcure.org. Please also visit here for more information on the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation
I have taken a pack of cards and distressed them using a chisel, sandpaper and white paint – in that order! These cards were created using a Bicycle Breast Cancer Research pack of cards, so if you buy a pack you will be contributing to a great cause too.
I added a photograph to each page – the black and white looks great against the pink and I love black and white pictures of the kids. My daughter is 9 weeks old in this one…
I used photos I already had edited and cropped for other projects to make it super easy to put together…
Now all I have to do is wrap it up and give it to my awesome Mother-in-Law!

I like the wire rings holding it together. I did that on a mini album once. It's perfect. Thanks for sharing. Linda

That is very nice. I like that the back of the cards are left blank in case she wants to add some journaling. Wonderful idea and I will definitely file it away for a later use. Thanks for sharing.

Very cute!!I would love to receive something like this! Since the chances of my husband making me one a pretty slim, I don't think that there will be one in my near future!! lol! I might have to make hubby a version fro Father's Day though….
