Everyday Eclectic Mini Album (Echo Park)

Hi Everyone
Please
note that the Blog Hop and competitions previously detailed on this
post have now closed. You can see who won the Echo Park giveaway on
their blog here. You can see who won my giveaway here. I encourage you to visit all the fabulous blogs that were on the hop – there is a list at the end of this post!
Everyday Mini Album

This mini album was really fun to make. It uses pages from the journaling cards paper as its base, and the design of the elements is so great – most of the work is done for you!

Like my previous File Folder Album using this collection, the photos in the album were all taken by my husband on his phone on a dull and rainy day.

The photos are never going to win any photography prizes – but they capture the fun of the day perfectly and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

The photos are never going to win any photography prizes – but they capture the fun of the day perfectly and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I have cropped the photos heavily and added a retro photo effect and polaroid frame using picmonkey – free online here.

Don’t forget to check out my previous album using the fantastic Everyday Eclectic Collection.

    • Reply Lowri August 20, 2012 at 6:03 PM

Hi Rinat – these letters are just text printed onto the pics. I laid the text over in the picmonkey program too – you can choose your font, size color etc – it's a great tool!
      Hope that helps

  • Reply Renee August 26, 2012 at 10:53 PM

This is so pretty!! And I'm really intrigued by the photo editing – does PicMonkey allow you to journal too or did you do that some other way?

    • Reply Lowri August 27, 2012 at 7:22 AM

Hi Renee – PicMonkey DOES allow you to overlay text, but in fact to create these I edited the pictures in PicMonkey and then added all the text in PowerPoint.

I do this so I can squeeze as many pics I can on an A4 sheet for economical printing and I find it easier!

      Hope that helps 🙂
