Hi Everyone I wanted to share this album I made “On the Go” on our holiday last year. Mu husband’s birthday falls at the end of April, which is often when we are able to take our family vacation. Last year was his 50th birthday and I wanted to make something special to celebrate our trip, and give it to him whilst we were still away.

Hi Everyone – another Cosmo Cricket Challenge this week and a chance to use the fabulous new 2WENTY-THR3E Collection showcased at CHA 2012. I was lucky enough to have been given a set of papers from this Collection and the Challenge was to alter a tin – but I have chosen to use a re-use a tin in a slightly different way. I LOVE to make these little albums and give them in vintage tins. I used the Postcards paper for the body of the book and then used some of the new Hello Washi Tape as a book binding. The “Smile” sentiment was cut from the Photo Booth paper and mounted with a small amount of dimensional tape. I created some tiny tabs and added the initials of my children with some Tiny Type stickers. A plain wooden button with a dab of brown ink, a couple more tiny type stickers and some ever popular twine for decoration and the book is complete ready to be put into the tin! Find some playing cards! These fabulous cards from Ellusionist shown here are great as they have a pre-aged Vintage look. Scuff them up with some sandpaper to give them a used feel as well as a used look Create a template with one of the spare cards (for example one of the Jokers) Punch two holes in each cards using the template as a guide Create your reasons labels to attach to the cards – detailed information below. Use another Joker card to create the front cover. Using double sided tape and/or glue – attach the inserts to the cards.
