Hi Everyone Today I am sharing a couple more projects I created for Kaisercraft using their April Collection – Charlotte’s Dream. This is not the style of Collection I normally work with – but the colors are lovely and the graphics are very detailed. To see the full Collections on Kaisercraft’s website – click here. To see the products at amazon.com click here. Blessing Album This blank album is a great gift idea – the cover is already decorated and the recipient just has to add their own pictures. You could use this for any number of occasions. Vintage AlbumA super-simple album created using the technique shown here. This is also blank inside Simple Note Books These are simply cheap notebooks covered in paper and decorated with a couple of stickers. Please post a comment with any questions – Lowri 🙂 I am linking up this post to these websites here.
Hi Everyone It’s the last day of April so I thought I would share some projects I created for Kaisercraft using their April Collection – Fine and Sunny. To see the full Collections on Kaisercraft’s website – click here. To see the products at amazon.com click here. The Letter “C” I created this for my daughter’s room. It’s fun and just a tiny bit girly – just like her! Baby Mini Album I wish I had some photos of the inside of this album but I sent it off in such a rush that I didn’t get a chance to take any! Treat Containers These little treat containers are a great way to use up scraps. I have a full tutorial on my blog here. This really is a fun collection – and tomorrow I have a couple to share using the other April Collection – Charlotte’s Dream. Please post a comment with any questions – Lowri 🙂 I am linking up this post to these websites here.
Hi Everyone I recently created this set of drawers using the Kaisercraft Fine and Sunny Collection – it was even on display at CHA earlier in the year which made me pretty pleased! At the end of this post I have also announced the winner of my recent Kaisercraft Giveaway. Fine and Sunny Mini Drawers To make these I sanded then painted all the pieces before assembling using a strong wood-glue. Each drawer is decorated with paper from the collection and some resin blooms. The sides of the drawers are decorated using the stickers and chipboard. These mini drawers are really easy to put together. Kaisercraft seem to have really ironed out any technical problems they had in the past which meant you had to file some pieces to fit – these fit like a glove! Kaisercraft Giveaway Now to announce the winner of my recent Kaisercraft Technologic Giveaway. The randomly picked winner is Ruth G from Winfield, IL who left the 128th comment. Congratulations Ruth – please email me here so I can arrange to send your prize. I had over 200 entries to this giveaway and I would like to thank each and every person for commenting and […]
Hi Everyone Another Technologic post today – and this is a super quick post for a super quick project – cheap, easy, fun and one the kids could get involved in too. Please note that the contest previously detailed here has closed. You can see who won here. Rocket Door Hanger I used the Kaisercraft Door Hanger as a base and elements from the Technologic Collection to decorate. The bright colors make it perfect for a boys room. You can see all my posts using this collection here: 1) Do the Robot 2) Fun Family Frame 3) Rocket Door Hanger 4) Magnetic Frame and Board Lowri 🙂 I am linking up this post to these websites here.
Hi Everyone The second of my Kaisercraft Technologic projects to share today and it’s one of my all-time favorites! Please note that the contest previously detailed here has closed. You can see who won here. Family Frame This project shows that this collection doesn’t have to all be about boys projects and robots! The bright colors in this collection made a great base for this family photo frame project. This project was also published in the Kaisercraft March Magazine so I have instructions too! Instructions Paint all edges and the base with 2 coats of deep turquoise paint. Print photos to fit the three largest of the stand-up pieces. Back all four stands with paper of your choosing and adhere the photos to the front. Create borders along the top edge with pieces from the sticker sheet. Apply chosen rubons to strips of paper or elements from the paper pad and mount onto photos using dimensional tape. Plaint some plain chipboard stars in co-ordinating colours and attach a sparklet into the centre for extra shine. Decorate the front (smallest) piece of your display using elements from the collection and a die-cut shipboard frame. Using more stickers and rhinestones – decorate […]
Please note that the Blog Hop and competitions previously detailed on this post have now closed. You can see who won the Echo Park giveaways on their blog here. You can see who won my giveaway here. I encourage you to visit all the fabulous blogs that were on the hop – there is a list at the end of this post! This and That Charming Frame This 8″x8″ frame decorated with the gorgeous This & That Charming Collection I have used patterned paper to decorate each section, and as I am giving it as a gift, I have left three blank with instructions as to what size photo needs to be added. The stickers, chipboard and brads from this Collection are perfect for adding accents and have a vintage but very fresh feel to them – also – the quality of these embellishments is AMAZING! Hi Everyone Another exciting first for me this month as I had 4 projects published in the Kaisercraft Workshop magazine and today I am sharing the first of them. You can also see details on the Kaisercraft website here and link to the magazine here. Robots Banner This banner would be perfect for a party or even just to decorate a room. The colors are so bright and these robots are just so cool! To get started, paint all edges of the pennants album with two coats of red paint. Cut contrasting triangles from patterned papers. Glue the larger triangle to the album page and then use dimensional tape to adhere the smaller one on top for added dimension. Hand or die-cut (I used this die)cogs from the patterned paper and then use smaller circles of paper to back them with a contrasting color. Find the robots from the collectables pack and use dimensional tape to mount them, tucking them behind the cogs. Use large alphas to spell out the name you would like. Use additional items from the collectables pack as well as more die-cut cogs to decorate the first pennant if desired. Thread a ribbon through the holes […]
Hi Everyone Today I am sharing a Wedding Celebration frame as well as announcing the winners (YES – TWO!) of my recent contest. Wedding Frame My sister had two weddings 5 months apart – both super casual and lots of fun! The 5 and 22 represent the dates of the two weddings. These letters represent their names. All the elements are from Pink Paislee – and even though the Nantucket Collection was beach themed, it has worked really well with the non-traditional wedding pieces I have shown in the last few days. Here is a summary in case you missed them – each has a step-by-step tutorial too! Wedding Placecards Wedding Flowers Homemade Confetti Wedding Favors Contest Winners YEP – you read right!! I have decided to have TWO winners for my recent contest due to the absolutely overwhelming response I received! These lucky winners will receive a custom made “52 Reasons I Love You” Cards set as seen here. The first winner was picked completely at random and was comment number 62. This was Amy Flanagan. (I had 197 comments and this comment was the 62nd of those received) The second winner I picked myself. This person frequently comments […]
Hi Everyone Another Pink Paislee project to share today – this time using the Hometown Summer Collection. At the end of this post I have also announced the winner of my Echo Park giveaway. This bright and fun collection was perfect for decorating these Mini Drawers from Kaisercraft. I have used the printed tissue from the Pink Paislee Daily Junque Collection to cover the sides and edges of the project before covering the top and sides with patterned paper from the collection. This was easily done by cutting the tissue to size and using mod-podge to stick it to the mdf project. The baubles make wonderful handles for the drawers and small elements cut from the borders stickers make these great little flags on which to mount them. These gorgeous little girls from the chipboard pops add such a fun feel to the sides of the drawers and even the back of the project gets a fun and funky feel with this alphabet printed paper from the 6×6 paper pack. Hopefully my sister doesn’t see this post before Christmas as I am going to give her these for her little daughter! Please post a comment with any questions. Lowri 🙂 […]
Hi Everyone I have another project using the Merry Medley Collection from Kaisercraft. This collection is so bright and fun – perfect for Christmas projects and decor here down under when the sun is shining and many people have never seen snow! I have used an 8×8 frame from Dusty Attic as a base and have used white ink to break up the stark wooden surface a little. I have then simply added some patterned paper to the background of each mini-frame and decorated the frames with the stickers from the Goodies sticker sheet. I have used rhinestones to accent and highlight various elements in the paper. These projects are super-quick to come together as the frame needs no preparation at all. Here is another frame I did with Bo Bunny Papers – this time I painted the frame but you can certainly leave it raw if you like. I made this frame as a prize for a lady who won a blog contest of mine and whose son was entering the marines. See the complete post here. Please post a comment if you have any questions. Lowri 🙂 I am linking up this project to these websites here.
