Hi Everyone I have a post on the Echo Park blog today showing an idea for using the School Days Mini Theme to create a Teacher’s Gift Box. This would be a perfect gift to get ready now for when the kids go back to school! This mini theme is so much fun with its bright images and great combination of papers. To create the basic box I used this file from A Little Hut. I did have to do some editing in the Silhouette software in order to make such a large box – but it was my first time and really wasn’t too hard. I simply used the knife tool to “cut up” the file and then enlarged all the pieces at the same time to keep them in proportion. I then had to add a couple of simple straight lines back in where I had separated the pieces – but it was pretty straightforward. The box cleverly forms an apple shape on top – which I decorated using some of the stickers from the collection.
