“52 Reasons I Love You” Cards Tutorial

Tutorial Below you will find the tutorial showing how to make the cards. On the website you can also find a complete supply list and all the information on purchasing a template to create the labels. Find some playing cards! These fabulous cards from Ellusionist shown here are great as they have a pre-aged Vintage look. Scuff them up with some sandpaper to give them a used feel as well as a used look Create a template with one of the spare cards (for example one of the Jokers) Punch two holes in each cards using the template as a guide Create your reasons labels to attach to the cards – detailed information below. Use another Joker card to create the front cover. Using double sided tape and/or glue – attach the inserts to the cards. Valentines Favors with Spellbinders plusTutorial…

Hi Everyone Okay – so first off I want to say I am NOT a Spellbinders expert. In fact this post came about because apart from the circles – I only own ONE Spellbinders Set– the Labels One and I really wanted to come up with some ideas on how to use them other than just the plain shape. Treat Bags  This really is as simple as it looks! Perfect for any party, class treats etc all you need to do is buy some cello bags, cut a plain pieces of card for the background and then use a smaller piece for the decoration. It’s a great way to use up scraps and I just added a rub-on for extra detail Mentos Favors I thought I was so clever coming up with this – and I have actually seem something really similar this week on the Spellbinders blog! Not your Average Valentines Cards!

Hi Everyone. A couple of Valentines Cards today using the wonderful Circa 1934 Collection from Cosmo Cricket. This collection is one of my favourites and is so versatile. Here I have threaded the paper through the chipboard piece for a 3D effect. I saw this done somewhere on a stamped image but I cannot remember where – so sorry if this original idea was yours! Speaking of Valentines – I am definitely NOT a pink person – so finding some “love” elements in this collection was a pleasant surprise.  I am not a big card-maker either, I always try and over complicate things so this time I went completely the opposite direction. These are so simple and were super-quick to make. Typewriter are everywhere at the moment – I have seen heaps of new CHA releases jumping on the bandwagon – which is great as I LOVE the retro look.  Another typewriter image. I love these bold colours – great for making a Valentines Card for a man.. This last one is so simple again – but all the colours just work so well together.
